But it’s icky

Slimy, green, and has a weird smell. Okra. 😑

I wasn’t sure when I first started learning about it. Blending into soup? No thanks.

I kept hearing about its benefits and decided I had to try it- besides, it was only about $1 at the store.

According to the search I’ve done, okra is:

  • High in folate(great for pregnancy or if you’re trying to get pregnant)
  • Good for balancing blood sugar
  • Full of vitamins
  • Helps stop you from getting tired

From personal results, I noticed it helps me stay fuller for longer, helps stretch a meal, and gives food good flavor.

I fry it up with some seasonings and put it with salmon. Even my kids love that!
